The Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery team provides care for conditions related to the head and neck – specifically the ear, nose and throat. We partner with Audiology in the same clinic space to manage hearing loss. Audiologists are healthcare professionals who specialize in diagnosing and treating hearing, balance, and other ear system disorders.

Otolaryngology

Our team is composed of outstanding UCSF physicians, advanced practice providers, residents, audiologists, nurses, medical assistants, and administrators. UCSF Residents are an integral part of our service as they complete a 10 week rotation at ZSFG. During their time they conduct clinic visits, provide consultations for emergency room patients and patients staying in the hospital, and they carry out emergency and elective surgeries at the hospital.

The clinic works in close cooperation with a variety of specialists to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and balance testing for patients with any degree of hearing loss or communication impairment.
