Congratulations to Theresa, a 22-year ZSFG veteran as an Emergency Nurse, on receiving the EMS System Hospital Provider Award this EMS Week! As the coordinator for emergency services for the past 7 years, she plays a pivotal role as the liaison between the Emergency Medical Services and the hospital’s emergency department staff.

As the only Level 1 Trauma hospital in the City, our trauma team is always at the ready to provide live-saving care and counsel the emergency medical teams out in the field to ensure patients are getting the appropriate care they need in a timely manner.
